Hilton Garden Inn Stony Brook

Nice suite, very comfortable. The restaurant was very good - we had breakfast, as well as an excellent lunch (tacos) and some wine and appetizers one evening. Very handy having such a good restaurant in the hotel.

Hotel was very clean and the staff were great. Breakfast was just right. Cereal, eggs, toast and bagels juices, fruit, bacon and sausages. Just right.

We were there for a girls overnight. I booked on online using Booking. Requested adjoining rooms with my friends. The hotel was booked for the weekend and could not honor my request. I wish I could remember the name of the nice young man who checked me in. He tried to find us adjoining rooms. The best he could was give us was rooms across the hall from each other. The point he spent a few more minutes trying to help us. He could have assigned us rooms down the hall from each other. Having nice and helpful people at the front desk sets the tone for the hotel. The rooms were nice and clean. There was a bar set with microwave, refrigerator and mini Keurig machine. The hotel is located right next door to Stony Brook College. There is a cafe for breakfast lunch and dinner. A short drive to Stony Brook Village. I would definitely go back and there and spend another night or two.

Employees are helpful and nice. Location is great. It is located on the campus of Stonybrook University. It is not far from other towns that have malls and eateries.
